Taking a look at the Heizer Defense 7.62x39 PAK1 AK Pistol. This pocket ak pistol is a single-shot 7.62x39 handgun, and is the smallest gun ever to be chambered in this caliber.

With such a short barrel on this pocket ak, the 7.62x39 round is very tame and not as punishing to shoot as I had anticipated. Most of the gun powder is burnt after leaving the barrel, creating an awesome muzzle flash. The porting on the barrel also helps to reduce recoil by forcing gas upwards when fired.

All in all, it’s definitely a novelty firearm, much like its .223 counterpart... But one of the coolest novelties I have had the experience of shooting. I enjoyed it more than the Smith and Wesson .500 Magnum Revolver. The PAK1 hurt very little to shoot without gloved hands, and could be fired all day long with gloved hands.
